Celtic take on Zenit St Petersburg in the Europa League this evening.
Celtic starting line-up: De Vries; Lustig, Simunovic, Ajer; Tierney, Brown, Eboue, Ntcham, Forrest; McGregor; Dembele.
Celtic substitutes: Bain, Hendry, Miller, Rogic, Sinclair, Edouard, Musonda.
Celtic head to Russia this evening to take on Zenit St Petersburg in the second leg of their Europa League round of 32 clash, having won the first leg 1-0 in Glasgow last week.
Callum McGregor’s late winner handed the Celtic the victory a week ago, and Zenit must now respond on home soil to prevent Brendan Rodgers’ men from making it into the last 16.
Rodgers has tonight chosen to go with an unchanged side from the first leg, meaning Dorus de Vries continues in goal due to Craig Gordon’s absence, with a back three of Mikael Lustig, Jozo Simunovic and Kristoffer Ajer in front of him.
James Forrest and Kieran Tierney will operate as the wing backs in a 3-5-1-1, with Kouassi Eboue joining Olivier Ntcham and captain Scott Brown in the middle of the park.
Last week’s matchwinner McGregor starts again in an attacking midfield role, and will support lone striker Moussa Dembele as they look to snatch an away goal in Russia.
That means that Scott Sinclair – who has been out of form of late – is only on the bench, alongside Calvin Miller, Tom Rogic, Odsonne Edouard, Charly Musonda as well as new signings Scott Bain and Jack Hendry.
