Celtic are back in Europa League action tonight as they take on Rosenborg.

Celtic starting line-up: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Benkovic, Tierney; McGregor, Rogic, Christie; Forrest, Sinclair, Edouard.

Celtic substitutes: Bain, Hendry, Hayes, Griffiths, Gamboa, Ntcham, Brown.

The Bhoys can keep their hopes of qualification for the knockout stages alive with a win tonight, having won two and lost two of their games so far in this season’s Europa League.

A 2-1 win over RB Leipzig in their last Europa League game has given Celtic real momentum, and a win tonight can really put them in position for a spot in the last 16.

Craig Gordon starts in goal, which was to be expected given that Scott Bain will be between the sticks at weekend, and he is protected by a back four of Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata, Filip Benkovic and Kieran Tierney.

Callum McGregor continues in a deeper midfield role, and he will be supported by the attack-minded duo of Tom Rogic and Ryan Christie, who can both get forward to great effect.

Scott Sinclair and James Forrest start out wide, whilst Odsonne Edouard is given the nod in attack, with Leigh Griffiths only named on the bench tonight.

Bain joins Sinclair on the bench, alongside fellow substitutes Jack Hendry, Jonny Hayes, Cristian Gamboa, Olivier Ntcham and captain Scott Brown, who didn’t quite make a starting role having been out for a month.
