Celtic take on RB Leipzig in the Europa League tonight…

Celtic starting line-up: Gordon; Gamboa, Simunovic, Boyata, Tierney; Kouassi; McGregor, Ntcham, Christie, Morgan; Edouard.

Celtic substitutes: Bain, Izaguirre, Hendry, Sinclair, Hayes, Lustig, Benkovic.

Celtic head into the game having beaten Hibernian 4-2 in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon, and are now looking to get their European campaign on track with a win in Germany tonight.

The Bhoys narrowly beat Rosenborg 1-0 in their opening group stage game, but then lost 3-1 to Red Bull Salzburg in their last match, and need to hit back tonight.

Celtic are coming back into form though, and will now hope to spring a surprise on Bundesliga side Leipzig, with Brendan Rodgers naming the strongest side he can without Scott Brown, James Forrest and Leigh Griffiths.

Craig Gordon starts in goal for Celtic tonight, with a back four of Cristian Gamboa, Jozo Simunovic, Dedryck Boyata and Kieran Tierney ahead of the Scot.

Eboue Kouassi is called upon to play in Brown’s holding midfield role, with four ahead of him in Callum McGregor, Olivier Ntcham, Ryan Christie and Lewis Morgan.

Odsonne Edouard leads the line for Celtic tonight with Griffiths out of action, and two wingers are named on the bench in Scott Sinclair and Jonny Hayes.

Scott Bain, Jack Hendry, Emilio Izaguirre, Mikael Lustig and Filip Benkovic are also named on the bench tonight, with a very defensive set of substitutes at Rodgers’ disposal.
