Celtic host Partick Thistle in the Scottish Premiership this evening – just days after beating them 4-1…

Celtic starting line-up: Gordon; Gamboa, Lustig, Sviatchenko, Miller; Brown, McGregor, Henderson; Roberts, Dembele, Sinclair.

Celtic substitutes: De Vries, Izaguirre, Bitton, Griffiths, Armstrong, Mackay-Steven, Sviatchenko.

The Bhoys beat Dundee 2-1 over the weekend to continue their unbeaten start to the season, and they’ve dropped just two points so far this term.

Tonight, Celtic take on Partick Thistle at Celtic Park, and will be desperate to pick up another win as they chase a sixth straight Scottish Premiership title.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has rotated some of his side, as whilst goalkeeper Craig Gordon and centre back Jozo Simunovic both start, Cristian Gamboa starts at right back, with Mikael Lustig shifting over to play at centre back.

Rodgers has handed a shock start to 18-year-old forward Calvin Miller, but the teenager will be playing at left back, with a midfield trio of Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and Liam Henderson ahead of them.

Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair will flank Moussa Dembele in attack, with Leigh Griffiths dropped back down to the bench once again.

Joining Griffiths on the bench are Dorus De Vries, Emilio Izaguirre, Nir Bitton, Stuart Armstrong, Gary Mackay-Steven and Erik Sviatchenko, with Rodgers naming a strong bench in case his rotated side struggle to break down Alan Archibald’s side.
