Celtic take on Partick Thistle in the Scottish Premiership this evening.
Celtic starting XI: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Ajer, Tierney; Brown, McGregor, Armstrong; Forrest, Edouard, Sinclair.
Celtic substitutes: Hazard, Griffiths, Dembele, Hayes, Ntcham, Sviatchenko, Johnston.
Celtic are back in action this evening as they look to bounce back from Sunday’s 4-0 thumping at the hands of Hearts on Sunday afternoon, which ended the Bhoys’ 69-game unbeaten run.
Manager Brendan Rodgers will be hoping for a response tonight, and sticks with Craig Gordon in goal, with Kristoffer Ajer joining Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata and Kieran Tierney in the back four.
Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and Stuart Armstrong make up the three-man midfield tonight as Tom Rogic remains out through injury, whilst James Forrest and Scott Sinclair feature out wide.
Odsonne Edouard is given the nod up front, meaning that Rodgers has decided to leave both Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths on the bench for tonight’s game.
Defender Erik Sviatchenko is named among the substitutes despite questions over his future, joining goalkeeper Conor Hazard, who is in the squad as Dorus de Vries is out.
Jonny Hayes, Olivier Ntcham and Mikey Johnston are also named on the bench tonight, as Celtic look to immediately get back to winning ways.
