Celtic take on Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
Celtic starting line-up: Gordon; Ralston, Ajer, Tierney, Miller; Brown, Rogic, Armstrong, McGregor, Benyu; Forrest.
Celtic substitutes: De Vries, Bitton, Griffiths, Sinclair, Ntcham, Lustig, Henderson.
Celtic are back in league action this afternoon as they travel to Rugby Park to take on Kilmarnock, just days after their Champions League win over Astana.
The Bhoys hammered Astana 5-0 in the first leg of their Champions League play-off clash, as two own goals, two goals from Scott Sinclair and a strike from James Forrest handed Brendan Rodgers an almost unassailable lead.
Today, it’s back to the bread and butter of the league, but Rodgers has decided to rest a number of his big-name players after Wednesday’s clash with Astana.
Craig Gordon keeps his place in goal, but there is a youthful back four in place as Anthony Ralston, Kristoffer Ajer, Kieran Tierney and Calvin Miller all start in defence.
It’s unclear just how Celtic will line up in midfield, but Scott Brown will protect the back four, allowing Tom Rogic, Stuart Armstrong, Callum McGregor and Kundai Benyu to support lone striker Forrest, who is again deployed as a striker.
Big names such as Nir BItton, Leigh Griffiths, Scott Sinclair and Mikael Lustig are all on the bench, alongside summer signing Olivier Ntcham, midfielder Liam Henderson and backup goalkeeper Dorus de Vries.
