Celtic take on Aberdeen in the Betfred Cup final today.

Celtic starting line-up: Bain; Lustig, Boyata, Benkovic, Tierney; McGregor, Rogic, Christie; Forrest, Sinclair, Edouard.

Celtic substitutes: Gordon, Simunovic, Brown, Griffiths, Gamboa, Hayes, Ntcham.

Celtic are back in domestic action this afternoon as they play the Betfred Cup final, just days after taking on Rosenborg in the Europa League.

The first piece of silverware in the Scottish season is up for grabs, with Celtic looking to get another treble-winning season started with the League Cup today.

Scott Bain starts in goal, coming in for Craig Gordon as he so often does in cup games, and he will be protected by Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata, Filip Benkovic and Kieran Tierney in a back four.

Callum McGregor continues in holding midfield despite Scott Brown’s return, and is joined in the engine room by Tom Rogic and Ryan Christie, who keep their places.

Scott Sinclair and James Forrest start out wide, supporting lone striker Odsonne Edouard as Leigh Griffiths once again has to be make do with a place on the bench.

He is joined by goalkeeper Gordon as well as captain Brown, whilst Jozo Simunovic, Cristian Gamboa, Jonny Hayes and Olivier Ntcham make up the rest of the bench.
