Celtic take on St Mirren at Parkhead this evening…
Celtic starting line-up: Forster; Bauer, Jullien, Ajer, Taylor; Brown, McGregor; Forrest, Christie, Elyounoussi; Edouard.
Celtic substitutes: Gordon, Bitton, Hayes, Elhamed, Morgan, Ntcham, Rogic.
Celtic hammered Aberdeen 4-0 on Sunday afternoon, and will be looking to take that form into tonight’s home meeting with St Mirren.
After a testing couple of games, Neil Lennon has rotated some of his side tonight, but he’s kept with Fraser Forster between the sticks having impressed since returning to the club.
Moritz Bauer comes in at right back, with Christopher Jullien and Kristoffer Ajer the now-familiar centre back pairing, but there’s a first Celtic appearance for left back Greg Taylor, bringing the 21-year-old’s long wait for a debut to an end.
Scott Brown and Callum McGregor continue yet again in midfield, whilst James Forrest, Ryan Christie and Mohamed Elyounoussi form a dangerous attacking three.
They play behind Odsonne Edouard tonight, with the Frenchman starting yet again; not that Lennon had much choice, with Leigh Griffiths and Vakoun Issouf Bayo both out.
There’s no place for Sunday’s hero Jeremie Frimpong, with the teenager left out of the squad completely tonight, whilst Scott Sinclair and Maryan Shved are also nowhere to be seen.
Craig Gordon, Nir Bitton, Jonny Hayes, Hatem Abd Elhamed, Lewis Morgan, Olivier Ntcham and Tom Rogic make up the Celtic bench this evening.
