Celtic take on St Johnstone away from home this afternoon.

Celtic starting line-up: Bain; Lustig, Simunovic, Ajer, Izaguirre; Brown, McGregor, Christie; Forrest, Sinclair, Burke.

Celtic substitutes: Gordon, Bitton, Toljan, Hayes, Weah, Edouard, Johnston.

Celtic are back in action this afternoon as they travel to McDiarmid Park to take on St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.

After beating St Johnstone on Wednesday night, Celtic face them again today as they look to pull six points clear of Rangers once again.

Scott Bain starts in goal once again having pushed himself ahead of Craig Gordon of late, whilst Jozo Simunovic is handed a rare start alongside Kristoffer Ajer in central defence.

Mikael Lustig and Emilio Izaguirre start in the full back roles, with captain Scott Brown in holding midfield having committed his future to the Bhoys.

Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie will be the creative forces in midfield, with James Forrest and Scott Sinclair out wide, whilst Oliver Burke is again used as a central striker.

New signing Jeremy Toljan is named on the bench today, having arrived on loan until the end of the season from German side Borussia Dortmund.

Gordon, Nir Bitton, Jonny Hayes, Timothy Weah, Odsonne Edouard and Mikey Johnston round out the rest of Brendan Rodgers’ bench this afternoon.
