Celtic take on Valencia in the Europa League this evening.

Celtic starting XI: Bain; Toljan, Simunovic, Boyata, Ajer, Hayes; Brown, McGregor, Christie; Forrest, Burke.

Celtic substitutes: Gordon, Lustig, Izaguirre, Sinclair, Weah, Edouard, Johnston.

Celtic travel to Spain tonight for the second leg of their Europa League knockout clash with Valencia this evening after losing the first leg 2-0 at Parkhead.

The Bhoys picked up a late win over Kilmarnock on Sunday and need to produce a stunning showing to make it into the next round of the Europa League.

Scott Bain keeps his place in goal ahead of Craig Gordon yet again, but Brendan Rodgers appears to have gone with a back five in front of the Scot.

Jozo Simunovic, Dedryck Boyata and Kristoffer Ajer feature at centre back, with Jeremy Toljan and Jonny Hayes serving as the right and left wing backs respectively.

Scott Brown is joined in midfield by Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie, with James Forrest seemingly featuring up front alongside Oliver Burke.

That means that Scott Sinclair has been dropped to the bench for tonight’s game, despite Celtic needing at least two goals to give themselves a shot at progression.

Sinclair is joined by fellow attackers Timothy Weah, Odsonne Edouard and Mikey Johnston, alongside Gordon, Mikael Lustig and Emilio Izaguirre.
