Celtic take on RB Leipzig in the Europa League this evening.

Celtic starting line-up: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Benkovic, Tierney; McGregor, Rogic, Christie; Forrest, Sinclair, Edouard.

Celtic substitutes: Bain, Hendry, Hayes, Morgan, Mulumbu, Ajer, Ralston.

Celtic are back in action this evening as they look to build on their 5-0 win over Hearts on Saturday afternoon – and need a positive result to save their Europa League campaign.

The Bhoys beat Rosenborg in their first game but have since lost to Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig, leaving their place in the competition in real doubt.

A 2-0 defeat to Leipzig in their last game means Celtic need a response tonight, and Rodgers has named a strong side for this evening’s game, starting with goalkeeper Craig Gordon between the sticks.

Mikael Lustig and Kieran Tierney line up as the full backs on the right and left respectively, with Dedryck Boyata and Filip Benkovic continuing in the heart of defence.

Callum McGregor keeps his place as a holding midfielder in the absence of Scott Brown, Olivier Ntcham and Eboue Kouassi, and is joined in midfield by Tom Rogic and Ryan Christie.

James Forrest and Scott Sinclair line up out wide, with Odsonne Edouard leading the line in the Celtic attack as Leigh Griffiths is ruled out yet again.

Teenager Anthony Ralston is named on the bench, alongside Scott Bain, Jack Hendry, Jonny Hayes, Lewis Morgan, Youssouf Mulumbu and Kristoffer Ajer.
