Celtic take on FK Sarajevo in the Champions League this evening.

Celtic starting line-up: Bain; Ajer, Simunovic, Bitton; Forrest, Brown, Christie, McGregor, Bolingoli; Johnston, Edouard.

Celtic substitutes: Gordon, Jullien, Ralston, Hayes, Morgan, Sinclair, Griffiths.

Celtic kick off their Champions League qualifying campaign today, as they take on Bosnian side FK Sarajevo away from home.

The Bhoys have been gearing up for this game with their pre-season preparations, and Neil Lennon will be looking to make a perfect start to the new season.

Lennon has gone with Scott Bain in goal, but things get a little strange after that. Our best guess is that Lennon has picked a back three of Kristoffer Ajer, Jozo Simunovic and Nir Bitton.

That would leave James Forrest and Boli Bolingoli as the wing backs, and Scott Brown sitting behind Ryan Christie and Callum McGregor centrally.

Mikey Johnston will support Odsonne Edouard in attack, unless it’s actually a 4-3-3, with Ajer at right back, Bolingoli at left back, with Forrest and Johnston as wingers.

The lack of a clear right back makes things sketchy, and fans may have to wait until kick off to learn just what formation Lennon has gone with tonight.

New signing Christopher Jullien is only on the bench, alongside Craig Gordon, Anthony Ralston, Jonny Hayes, Lewis Morgan, Scott Sinclair and Leigh Griffiths.
