Celtic and Rangers go head-to-head in the Scottish Cup semi-final this afternoon with both sides knowing they have what it takes to reach the showpiece event next month.

While Celtic have run away with the league title and secured yet another crown, Rangers are a different beast under new manager Pedro Caixinha and they will be quietly confident of getting one over the Bhoys.

The last time these two sides met a late Clint Hill goal secured a point for the Gers, and Rangers will be hoping to go one better this time out.

Celtic have Scott Brown available after the Bhoys skipper opted to appeal the red card he received against Ross County earlier this month.

As much as Rangers will want to reach another major cup final of their own, they will also be desperate to stop Celtic securing an historic treble.

As a consequence, expect this to be a full blooded and exciting affair from beginning to end.
