Burnley host Southampton this afternoon with Sean Dyche’s side currently 19th in the Premier League table and the Saints down to fifth after a run of three straight defeats.
Burnley have looked considerably better in recent weeks but the defeat to Queens Park Rangers will have been a big blow and they will know it gets no easier against a Southampton side who still have top-four aspirations.
Losing to Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United will have been a bitter pill to swallow for Ronald Koeman’s men but they will want to get back to winning ways as soon as possible, starting this afternoon at Turf Moor.
