Confirmed Brighton v Tottenham lineups: Dier starts, Winks on the bench

Brighton and Hove Albion host Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.

Brighton head into the game with no win in the last six league games, and will be hoping to benefit against a shaky Tottenham side.

Ex-Spurs trialist Mat Ryan starts in goal, with three centre backs ahead of him in Adam Webster, Lewis Dunk and Dan Burn.

Martin Montoya starts at right wing back with Steven Alzate on the left, whilst Aaron Mooy, Dale Stephens and Pascal Gross start as the midfield three today.

Aaron Connolly starts in attack for Brighton, alongside Neal Maupay, meaning Glenn Murray is only on the bench today.

He is joined by fellow substitutes David Button, Leon Balogun, Gaetan Bong, Yves Bissouma, Solly March and Alireza Jahanbakhsh.

Meanwhile, Spurs need to fight back from their 7-2 home defeat to Bayern Munich, and appear to have switched back to a 4-2-3-1 this afternoon.

Hugo Lloris starts in goal, with Moussa Sissoko deployed at right back in the defence alongside Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies.

Eric Dier comes into the side in midfield alongside Tanguy Ndombele, with Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Son Heung-min supporting Harry Kane.

That means Harry Winks is only on the bench today, alongside Paulo Gazzaniga, Davinson Sanchez, Juan Foyth, Oliver Skipp, Dele Alli and Lucas Moura.
