Here is how Brighton and Hove Albion and Southampton will line up this afternoon:

Brighton and Hove Albion welcome Southampton to the Amex Stadium this weekend for their latest Premier League clash.

The Seagulls have enjoyed a relatively bright start to life in the top flight, picking up 11 points from their first nine matches and overcoming West Ham United 3-0 last time out.

That win will have given Brighton plenty of confidence as they entertain a Southampton side just one point and two places above them as things stand.

The last time these two sides met – back in 2012 – Brighton ran out 3-0 winners and they will be hoping to replicate that result later today.

That said, Southampton have a decent record away from home and they will be aiming for another win to ensure they keep in touch with the top seven.

This one really could go either way and, based on recent evidence, there should be plenty of goals so watch this space…
