Confirmed: Brighton and Everton line-ups

Here is how Brighton and Hove Albion and Everton will line up this afternoon:

Brighton and Hove Albion welcome Everton to the Amex Stadium this afternoon for their first match since the latest international break.

The Seagulls are currently 16th in the Premier League with seven points from their first seven matches, while Everton are below them only on goal-difference.

In short, this is a massive game for both clubs and whoever wins will take a big stride away from the bottom three, leaving the other to flounder at the wrong end of the table.

Brighton have proved to be a match for most clubs they have faced already this season and they will be keen to inflict more damage on an Everton side that has simply not clicked after an extensive summer overhaul.

Toffees manager Ronald Koeman knows he needs to get things right on the field sooner rather than later, with his future at the club already in question.

A defeat here and it could be all over for the Dutchman just months after he was tipped by some to lead them on a top-four charge after an impressive summer of spending.

Unfortunately, with a lack of pace in attacking areas and a failure to replace last season’s top-scorer Romelu Lukaku, Everton look set for a struggle for quite some time to come.
