Steve Bruce takes charge of Aston Villa for the first time as they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in a local derby this evening.
Bruce was appointed as Villa’s new boss on Wednesday evening following Roberto Di Matteo’s departure earlier this month, and he makes his bow tonight against Wolves.
In a surprise move, Bruce has handed a start to Micah Richards at right back, with Alan Hutton – who worked with Bruce at Sunderland – left on the bench.
Aaron Tshibola starts with Mile Jedinak in midfield with under-fire Ashley Westwood on the bench, whilst Ross McCormack, Jack Grealish and Albert Adomah will all support Jonathan Kodjia in attack.
Joining Hutton and Westwood on the bench are Leandro Bacuna, Jordan Ayew and Rudy Gestede, as well as backup goalkeeper Mark Bunn, as Pierluigi Gollini replaces him in goal.
Meanwhile, Wolves have lost their last two games, and manager Walter Zenga will hope to pick up a more positive result this evening.
Summer signings Romain Saiss, Prince Oniangue, Helder Costa and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson all start, with a back four of Matt Doherty, Dominic Iorfa, Danny Batth and Kourtney Hause.
On the bench, Wolves can call upon fit-again striker Nouha Dicko, as well as Portuguese duo Joao Teixeira and Ivan Cavaleiro.
