Aston Villa host Fulham at Villa Park this afternoon, with both teams picking up four points in their last two games.
Villa’s new boss Steve Bruce grabbed his first win with a late 2-1 victory over Reading in midweek, following on from their 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton last Saturday.
Bruce already appears to be improving Villa, but one player has lost his place in the team as Aly Cissokho – who gave away a penalty against Reading – has been dropped to the bench in favour of Jordan Amavi.
Albert Adomah is only on the bench too, with Jordan Ayew handed a start after his winning goal against Reading, whilst Nathan Baker continues at centre back with Tommy Elphick still out, and Ross McCormack is left on the bench too against his former club.
Meanwhile, Slavisa Jokanovic’s Fulham came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with title-chasing Norwich City in midweek, and he’ll be hoping to put together a run of results having beaten Barnsley 4-2 last weekend.
He can call upon experienced players like Scott Parker and Kevin McDonald, as well as Icelandic Euro 2016 star Ragnar Sigurdsson and former Spurs youngster David Button.
16-year-old defender Ryan Sessegnon starts, whilst Tom Cairney – a player who worked with Steve Bruce at Hull – is only on the bench, along with the likes of Matt Smith and Floyd Ayite.
