Blackburn Rovers starting line-up: Steele, Lenihan, Mulgrew, Lowe, Greer, Conway, Guthrie, Evans, Marshall, Emnes, Gallagher.

Blackburn Rovers substitutes: Raya, Feeney, Byrne, Samuelsen, Graham, Akpan, Bennett.

Aston Villa are looking for another positive result under new manager Steve Bruce as they take on Blackburn Rovers after picking up to draws and two wins under him so far.

Villa drew 1-1 away at local rivals Birmingham City last weekend, and will now return to Villa Park in search of three more points as Bruce attempts to keep his unbeaten run going.

It’s the same back four as Alan Hutton, James Chester, Nathan Baker and Jordan Amavi play in front of Pierluigi Gollini, whilst Mile Jedinak and Gary Gardner start in central midfield.

Albert Adomah is passed fit after picking up a knock against Birmigham, whilst Ross McCormack and Jack Grealish support lone striker Jonathan Kodjia, with the likes of Gabby Agbonlahor, Aaron Tshibola, Tommy Elphick and ex-Blackburn striker Rudy Gestede.

Meanwhile, Blackburn have been struggling of late, winning just one of their last six games as they sit second bottom of the Championship table.

Owen Coyle is forced to use a makeshift back four including Charlie Mulgrew and Jason Lowe, whilst Craig Conway and Ben Marshall will be called upon to supply Marvin Emnes and Sam Gallagher, with the likes of Martin Samuelsen and Danny Graham on the bench.
