Dean Smith’s Aston Villa will face Bolton Wanderers at Villa Park in the Championship this evening.

Aston Villa will be looking to return to winning ways in the Championship this evening when they take on Bolton Wanderers at Villa Park.
Villa will head into the match against Bolton on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers away from home at Loftus Road in the league.
The Villans are 17th in the Championship table at the moment with 18 points from 15 matches, six points above the relegation zone.
Dean Smith’s side are seven points behind Derby County, who are currently sixth in the league table and occupy the final playoff spot.
Meanwhile, Bolton currently find themselves 19th in the standings with 16 points from 15 games and are in danger of getting relegated to League One at the end of the season.
This is how Villa line up for their Championship match against Bolton at Villa Park this evening:

Meanwhile, Villa defender James Chester has welcomed the return of John Terry to Villa Park.
Former Chelsea defender Terry spent the 2017-18 campaign at Villa and is now the assistant head coach to Dean Smith at the Villans.
Chester told Sky Sports about Terry: “It’s great to have him back. I was very fortunate to play with him last year, he’s one of the best centre-backs of a generation so to find myself alongside him last year was something I wouldn’t have dreamt of happening.”
“To have him back now on the coaching side is really beneficial because I can speak to him about whether a decision I have made on the pitch is wrong,” added Chester. “He is always taking part in sessions outside and his opinions are invaluable.”
