Arsenal host Paris Saint Germain tonight in their crucial Group A encounter.
Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil
Arsenal starting line-up: Ospina, Gibbs, Koscielny, Mustafi, Jenkinson, Coquelin, Ramsey, Iwobi, Ozil, Sanchez, Giroud.
Arsenal substitutes: Cech, Gabriel, Monreal, Elneny, Xhaka, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain
PSG starting line-up: Areola, Maxwell, Marquinhos, Silva, Meunier, Motta, Krychowiak, Verratti, Matuidi, Cavani, Lucas.
PSG substitutes: Trapp, Augustin, Ben Arfa, Ikone, Jese, Kimpembe, Nkunku.
The Gunners are once again without a whole host of first-team stars as they welcome the Parisians to the Emirates.
Hector Bellerin, Santi Cazorla, Per Mertesacker and Lucas Perez are all long-term absentees, whilst Chuba Akpom will also miss out.
PSG have their own injury concerns, with Javier Pastore, Adrien Rabiot and Layvin Kurzawa all absent, while Serge Aurier also misses out having been refused entry to Britain.
In the corresponding fixture in September, Arsene Wenger’s men were lucky to leave the Parc des Princes with a point, after being dominated for the entire 90 minutes.
This time around though, Arsenal, being the home team, will be expected to take the game to the French champions, and a win would guarantee them top spot in Group A for only the second time in the last seven years.
Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery
The north Londoners should be heading into the game in confident mood, after going 17 games unbeaten in all competitions.
The visitors are also on a fine run of form, however, and have not lost in their last nine games.
The game kicks-off at 19:45 and can be seen live on BT Sport.
