Arsenal take on Manchester City in the Premier League this afternoon…

The Gunners head into the game having been beaten 3-1 at West Bromwich Albion before the international break, with manager Arsene Wenger remaining under pressure.

Arsenal need a result to put themselves back in touch with the top four, but they face a tough task against Manchester City this afternoon.

Goalkeeper Petr Cech misses out again as David Ospina starts today, with a familiar back four of Hector Bellerin, Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal.

Granit Xhaka and Francis Coquelin start in holding midfield, with Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez supporting lone striker Danny Welbeck in attack.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey both miss out through injury, whilst the substitutes are Emiliano Martinez, Gabriel, Kieran Gibbs, Mohamed Elneny, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Alex Iwobi and Olivier Giroud.

Meanwhile, City picked up a 1-1 draw Liverpool before the international break, and will be looking to leapfrog Liverpool in the Premier League table this evening.

Pep Guardiola’s men can move back up to third with a win today, and Guardiola has named a strong side this afternoon – though it’s not clear just what formation his side will be playing.

Willy Caballero again starts in goal, with Fernandinho possibly playing at right back, alongside Nicolas Otamendi, John Stones and Gael Clichy in defence.

Yet, with such an attack-minded midfield, Fernandinho could be used in a holding role. Jesus Navas, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling all start behind Sergio Aguero, with City seemingly going for goals today.

The bench contains big names such as Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany, as well as Claudio Bravo, Pablo Zabaleta, Aleksandar Kolarov, Fabian Delph and Nolito.
