Mikel Arteta will hope for better today and goes with Cedric Soares, Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes and Kieran Tierney across the back four.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka feature in midfield, with Martin Odegaard operating as the number 10.

Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe are the wide men today, flanking Alexandre Lacazette up top.

Nicolas Pepe only makes the bench, joining Bernd Leno, Rob Holding, Nuno Tavares, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Mohamed Elneny, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Omari Hutchinson and Eddie Nketiah.

Brentford have David Raya between the sticks, operating behind a back three of Kristoffer Ajer, Pontus Jansson and Ethan Pinnock.

Sergi Canos and Rico Henry are the wing backs today, whilst former Arsenal talent Josh Dasilva makes a first start of the season.

Dasilva is joined in midfield by Christian Norgaard and Mathias Jensen, with Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo up top.

Another former Arsenal youngster is on the Brentford bench in Fin Stevens, joining Alvaro Fernandez, Saman Ghoddos, Frank Onyeka, Shandon Baptiste, Vitaly Janelt, Mads Bech Sorensen, Mads Roerslev and Nathan Young-Coombes.
