Arsenal starting XI: Leno; Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Party, Elneny, Saka; Willian, Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Arsenal substitutes: Runarsson, Maitland-Niles, Luiz, Xhaka, Ceballos, Pepe, Nketiah.

Aston Villa starting XI: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Mings, Targett; Luiz, McGinn, Barkley; Trezeguet, Grealish, Watkins.

Aston Villa substitutes: Steer, Elmohamady, Taylor, Nakamba, Hourihane, El Ghazi, Davis.

Arsenal go with Bernd Leno in goal, behind what appears to be a back four of Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding, Gabriel Magalhaes and Kieran Tierney.

Mohamed Elneny and Thomas Partey continue in midfield, with Bukayo Saka joining them as a more advanced midfield option.

Willian and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang start out wide, with Alexandre Lacazette leading the line today, as Nicolas Pepe has to settle for a place on the bench.

Runar Runarsson, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, David Luiz, Granit Xhaka, Dani Ceballos and Eddie Nketiah join Pepe on the bench tonight.

Aston Villa have ex-Arsenal man Emiliano Martinez in goal, as he makes his first return to the Emirates Stadium this evening.

Matty Cash, Ezri Konsa, Tyrone Mings and Matt Targett line up as the rather familiar back four, whilst Douglas Luiz will protect the defence.

John McGinn and Ross Barkley will offer more going forward, whilst Trezeguet and Jack Grealish support Ollie Watkins in attack.

There’s no Bertrand Traore as he missed out through injury, meaning the bench tonight is Jed Steer, Ahmed Elmohamady, Neil Taylor, Marvelous Nakamba, Conor Hourihane, Anwar El Ghazi and Keinan Davis.
