Celtic take on Anderlecht in the Champions League this evening.
Celtic are back in Champions League action this evening as they take on Belgian side Anderlecht at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.
The Bhoys were hammered 5-0 at home to Paris Saint-Germain in their first group game, but have bounced back domestically with some strong results, including the 2-0 Old Firm derby win over Rangers on Saturday.
Now, manager Brendan Rodgers must strive for a win in Europe to kickstart Celtic’s Champions League campaign, with the Bhoys boss making just the one change tonight.
Craig Gordon keeps his place in goal, whilst Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata, Jozo Simunovic and Kieran Tierney back up the back four.
Scott Brown will protect the defence, with Olivier Ntcham and Tom Rogic called upon to play further forward, as Ntcham has been brought in to the side in place of Stuart Armstrong.
Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair keep their places out wide and will support lone striker Leigh Griffiths, who scored the second goal against Rangers.
Armstrong drops down to the bench, and is joined by fellow substitutes Dorus de Vries, Nir Bitton, Callum McGregor, Jonny Hayes, James Forrest and Mousa Dembele.
Meanwhile, Anderlecht can call upon Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru tonight, with the Nigerian winger handed a start in attack alongside alleged Everton target Lukasz Teodorczyk.
Other notable names such as Alexandru Chipciu and Leander Dendoncker also start, with former Celtic target Kara Mbodj only fit enough for a place on the Anderlecht bench tonight.
