Caoimhin Kelleher told UMM’s YouTube channel that his ‘confidence is getting killed’ in Liverpool training because of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
The rising 22-year-old shot-stopper shared that he ‘hates’ facing the Liverpool trio in training, but stated, just like on matchday, they are ‘unbelievable’ and ‘so on sync’ in training also.
For a number of years now, Mane, Firmino and Salah have been one of the best front three’s in world football – and their Champions League and Premier League medals are proof of that.
Nonetheless, Kelleher was first asked to share his thoughts on assumptions that he hates facing Salah in training but admitted that it’s actually all the forward players
“Yes, I hate facing all the strikers,” laughed Kelleher. “Confidence is getting killed every time I face them.
“Obviously, it’s the best training you can get, no? Facing like the best three attackers in the world on a daily basis. It just takes your game to another level, so it’s class.
“It’s the exact same [Liverpool’s front three in-game and in training]. They are just so on sync. Just so on tune with each other and it’s unbelievable.”

Kelleher has been one of the unexpected success stories for Liverpool this season during a campaign of indifferent performances and injuries.
At the start of the campaign, the Irishman was Liverpool’s number three, but there’s no doubt that he has now pushed ahead of Adrian in the pecking order.
His performances in the Champions League have played a big part in that, but with Alisson Becker in between the sticks, game time will always be at a minimal, for now at least.
