Leeds United won against Bristol City in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

Leeds United returned to winning ways in the Championship on Tuesday evening with a narrow 2-1 victory over Bristol City at home.
The West Yorkshire outfit headed into the match against City at Elland Road on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Cardiff City at home.
Garry Monk’s side took the lead after 27 minutes when New Zealand international striker Chris Wood found the net.
Pablo Hernandez made it 2-0 to the Whites in the opening minutes of the second half, and Milan Djuric halved the deficit for City in the sixth minute of injury time.
Former Leeds striker Noel Whelan was following the match, and he highlighted a reason for concern for the home team.
“Once you get into dangerous areas, you can get crowded out if you take too many touches – just get your shot off,” Whelan told BBC Sport. “Hernandez and Roofe were guilty of that at times but Leeds got the win today.
“Leeds were guilty of letting them back in right at the end, though, and I think the word for that is concerning. Bristol City shouldn’t have had some of the chances they did.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Tuesday evening, hosts Leeds had 45% of the possession, took 15 shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors City had 55% of the possession, took 19 shots of which nine were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Leeds are fifth in the Championship table at the moment with 57 points from 32 matches.
