Yaya Toure is leaving Manchester City this summer.

Departing Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is in talks with West Ham United, according to The Daily Mail, but Martin Compston wants the former Barcelona star at Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic.
With Toure leaving City and becoming a free agent, West Ham have reportedly moved quickly to try to secure the services of the player who worked with their new manager Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium.
Compston, though, wants the 35-year-old midfielder at his beloved Celtic. The 34-year-old actor is a fan of the Glasgow giants, and he has posted a tweet suggesting – jokingly perhaps – that he has done all he can to convince the former Olympiacos man to move to the Hoops and reunite with his brother Kolo Toure, who has a coaching role under manager Rodgers.
The Line of Duty star posted the tweet following Soccer Aid game at Old Trafford.

Blockbuster but unlikely signing
Toure is past his prime, but the 35-year-old would still would be a blockbuster signing for Celtic.
The Ivory Coast international has won major titles with Barcelona and City, but the Hoops would not be able to afford his wages, which were reported to be £220,000-a-week at City by The Daily Mail.
