Departing Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is in talks with West Ham United, according to The Daily Mail, but Martin Compston wants the former Barcelona star at Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic.

With Toure leaving City and becoming a free agent, West Ham have reportedly moved quickly to try to secure the services of the player who worked with their new manager Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium.

Compston, though, wants the 35-year-old midfielder at his beloved Celtic. The Line of Duty star posted the tweet following Soccer Aid game at Old Trafford.
