Arsenal produced one of their best attacking performances of the season after a smooth 3-0 win against Southampton at the Emirates Stadium.

Alexandre Lacazette and Martin Odegaard fired Arsenal ahead before the break as Gabriel Magalhaes wrapped up the win with a strong header from a Gabriel Martinelli corner.

It was a dominating display from the Gunners as Bukayo Saka and Martinelli both hit the post shortly after Gabriel’s set-piece goal, with all of Arsenal’s forwards on fine form against Southampton.

Indeed, it could have easily been more than three for the Gunners on Saturday, yet a stunning revelation from the match summarised nearly how dominant Arsenal were against Southampton.

All four of Arsenal’s attacking players either scored or assisted every goal put past Southampton on the day. And with the likes of Martinelli and Lacazette missing clear-cut chances, the forwards were crucial to Mikel Arteta’s side claiming all three points.

Indeed, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang not even in the squad, the feat was made even more than impressive. And with Arsenal facing West Ham next after demolishing Southampton, the forwards have hit form at the perfect time.

Moreover, with massive games coming up for the Gunners, the north London side will be hoping the quartet can maintain this form heading into upcoming matches against West Ham and Leeds.
