’Complete midfielder’ Leeds want is now considering Newcastle offer

Leeds United transfer target Christian Eriksen is considering offers from Newcastle United and Everton, according to The Times.

The Times have reported that Newcastle, Everton and Leicester City are among the clubs who have made offers to former Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Eriksen.

Manchester United are also reported to be keen on the 30-year-old Denmark international playmaker, described as “the complete midfielder” by Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti in GhanaSoccernet in February 2020.

Eriksen is now considering all the offers made to him, according to The Times.

CBS journalist Ben Jacobs said on The Done Deal Show this week that Leeds are among the clubs who are interested in the 30-year-old.

Leeds United or Newcastle United for Christian Eriksen?

In our view, both Leeds United and Newcastle United could be disappointed in their quest to sign former Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen in the summer transfer window.

Now, of course, Leeds and Newcastle are big clubs, and that the playmaker is considering the offer from the Magpies suggests that he is not totally dismissive of playing for Eddie Howe’s side.

However, Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the chance to turn out for the Red Devils and play with the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Cristiano Ronaldo and David de Gea could be too tempting to resist.
