West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club finally released the new home shirt ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
What’s the story?
Well, it’s quite a different strip to last season’s effort from Umbro.
This time, Umbro have added a collar to the shirt, and have also included claret and white trim to the end of the sleeves.
The shirt is inspired by Paulo Di Canio’s incredible volley against Wimbledon, as the club’s announcement states.
It’s similar to the strip worn by the iconic Italian, when he leapt high to lash that stupendous effort into the back of the net.
Please, bring the old badge back

We simply can’t get our head around why West Ham changed their badge.
The newer version just looks so basic and bland.
In truth, it looks like something that belongs on Pro Evolution Soccer, who don’t have the licensing rights to use Premier League badges!

The old badge was ten times better than the current one, and we simply have no idea why it was changed.
Moving away from Upton Park was bad enough, but this is just rubbing salt in the wounds.
Nevertheless, let’s see what the West Ham fans on Twitter have been saying about the new kit…
