Tottenham Hotspur will be moving into their new home in 11 days time.

UNITED KINGDOM - 2019

Tottenham Hotspur fan Adam Spray won a competition where the prize was a behind the scenes tour of the club’s new stadium, and he shared what Daniel Levy told him about the delayed move to their magnificent new home, as quoted by Football.London.

Spurs have been playing all of their home games at Wembley Stadium since the start of the 2017/18 campaign, and despite the fact that they have still been reasonably successful, the club’s players, fans and their manager will surely be desperate to have somewhere to call home.

Tottenham’s new 62,000 capacity stadium is expected to be the finest club arena in world football, and its doors will open on April 3rd, when they welcome Crystal Palace to north London.

Spurs were supposed to move into their new home at the start of this season, but club competition winner Adam Spray shared with reporters how Daniel Levy told him that he is pleased that the club did not rush their stadium switch, as quoted by Football.London:

Daniel Levy takes his seat in the stand for the game during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland at White Hart Lane on September 18, 2016 in London, England.

“As we toured the brewery we discussed the new stadium and the delay there had been. Mr Levy felt that the wait was going to be worth it and that he would rather that the stadium was slightly behind time and completed properly, than they had rushed to open it and not have everything perfect for the fans when they first arrived.”

Tottenham still have it all to do this season, if they are to finish inside the top four, and Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping that his side’s move to their new stadium will give them the boost they need heading into the final stretch.
