Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers worked as a coach at Chelsea from 2004 until 2008.

Commons worked with Rodgers during his time at Celtic, and the 34-year-old Scotsman has disclosed what the former Liverpool and Swansea City boss told him about his time at Chelsea.
The 44-year-old worked as a coach at Premier League giants Chelsea from 2004 until 2008.
Rodgers was appointed the Celtic manager in the summer of 2016 and guided the Hoops to a domestic treble last season.
The Glasgow giants are also playing in the Champions League this season and could drop to the Europa League.

“Brendan is a great coach,” Commons wrote in The Daily Mail. “He gives you all the tools to succeed but he can’t do it all for you. He tells his players: ‘It comes from within’.
“I remember an early meeting I had with Brendan at Celtic when he told me the importance of his time at Chelsea watching top class professionals, who all demanded extra work.
“He mentioned Andriy Shevchenko, Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, John Terry — great players who all worked tirelessly on their game at all times.
“Even World Cup winners wanted to improve every single day and that attitude made a mark on Brendan.”

Commons has outlined the improvement he has seen in Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon.
Gordon is the first-choice goalkeeper at Celtic Park, having been on the books of the Glasgow giants from 2014.
“Craig Gordon is proof that no matter how old you are you can always learn and improve,” added Commons. “Craig would never have had to play out from the back before, but now he’s a ball-playing goalkeeper.”
Celtic are going strong in the Scottish Premiership at the moment and look set to win the league title yet again this season.
