Glasgow Rangers defender Ross McCrorie struggled to cope with Celtic star Moussa Dembele at the weekend.

Former Celtic attacking midfielder Commons made the comments while analysing Rangers’ 4-0 defeat to the Hoops at Hampden Park in the Scottish Cup semi-finals this past Sunday afternoon.
McCrorie gave away a penalty in the opening second minutes of the second half when he pulled down Dembele inside the Rangers boss and was consequently sent off.

Commons said on Sky Sports Football this past Sunday afternoon (4:37pm, April 15, 2018) during the post-match analysis of the game: “McCrorie, listen, he has got a great future ahead of him, but today, he got taught a football lesson by an outstanding Celtic centre-forward.”

Learning from mistakes
McCrorie struggled to cope with Dembele and the rest of the Celtic attacking players during his time on the pitch at Hampden Park on Sunday afternoon, but the Rangers defender will learn from the experience.
While Commons is right about 21-year-old Celtic striker Dembele teaching the 20-year-old defender a footballing lesson at the weekend, the Scotland Under-21 international is only going to learn from it.
McCrorie has been playing well for Graeme Murty’s side this season, and the youngster needs to bounce back from his disappointment in the Old Firm derby.
