Tottenham Hotspur’s players were heard urging each other to set a tone with their first action in the second half of their game against LASK in the Europa League last night, by the BT Sport commentary team.
Tottenham were rather fortunate to be coming out for the second period on level terms, as their performance in the first period was well below par.
Spurs were outplayed at times by their unfancied opponents, and their players were clearly not happy with the performance they had put in.
“Just before you joined us for the second half we did get one of those little insights that have been more regular during the period of crowdlessness,” BT commentator Peter Drury said.
“We heard the Spurs players on the way out through the tunnel just advising each other to make sure the first thing they did they did right, to try and lift each other.
“Joe Hart was among the most vocal.”

Tottenham ultimately were improved in the second-half, although they never found top gear.
Spurs went on to claim a 3-3 draw, which was enough for them to qualify to the knockout stages.
Interestingly Hart may not have taken on his own advice, as he produced a shaky display.
Hart should have saved two of the goals which Spurs conceded in the contest, and the England international will surely be frustrated with his own display this morning.
