Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are responding to Max Aaron’s latest post on the social media website.

Soccer Link reported in April that Spurs had contacted Norwich City about signing the highly-rated right-back this summer.

Tottenham fans then got excited after Aarons waxed lyrical about the North Londoners’ £1 billion stadium, describing it as the best ground that he’s ever played in.

The 20-year-old posted a couple of photographs of himself in training on Tuesday.

And here’s how some Tottenham supporters responded to him on Twitter:

If Aarons – valued at £30 million – does wind up joining the Lilywhites, it’ll be as a replacement for Serge Aurier most probably.

The Ivory Coast defender has been linked with a move away from North London and has breached social distancing protocols on no fewer than three occasions since they were introduced, with Tottenham reportedly fining him two weeks wages [The Sun].

If that wasn’t bad enough, Aurier also claimed in May that he wanted to re-sign for the French giants at some point in the future, something that didn’t go down well with fans of his current club.
