Liverpool fans have urged Timo Werner to come and join them, after his latest tweet.

Werner is set to be in action for RB Leipzig at the weekend, as the Bundesliga returns, and Liverpool supporters are likely to have a keen eye on his performance.

Werner has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield for months now, with Jurgen Klopp said to be a huge admirer of the rapid striker.

And Liverpool fans have now taken to social media to encourage Werner to make the move to Merseyside when the season finishes.

If Werner was to arrive at Liverpool, it is claimed that he would cost £52 million by the Guardian.

His signing would strengthen Liverpool’s front-line even more and give Klopp a set of seriously enviable attacking options.

Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino are already at the club, so Werner would have serious competition for a starting place.

Werner has hit 27 goals in 36 games this season and if he could recreate those sort of numbers at Liverpool he would prove an excellent signing.
