Some Fenerbahce fans have responded to Arsenal central defender Sokratis’s post to Mesut Ozil on Twitter and have urged him to move to the Turkish club.

Sokratis has wished Ozil the best of luck at Fenerbahce and has expressed his delight at playing alongside the German attacking midfielder at Arsenal.

The former Real Madrid star is on his way to Fenerbahce and has been posting messages and pictures on Twitter, although Arsenal have yet to officially announce his departure.

Ozil was left out of Arsenal’s Premier League and Europa League squad this season, just like Sokratis was.

The 32-year-old Greece international central defender is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season, and, according to The Times, the Gunners are hoping to come to an arrangement over mutually terminating his deal.

Some Fenerbahce fans on Twitter have urged Sokratis to move to their club, while some Arsenal supporters believe that the defender will leave.

Below are some of the best comments on Twitter:

Meanwhile, Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe has expressed his delight at being compared to Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes.

As reported by The London Evening Standard, since December 26, 2020, only United attacking midfielder Fernandes has created more chances than Smith Rowe in the Premier League.

The Arsenal youngster said, as quoted in The London Evening Standard: “I look up to Bruno Fernandes as a player. His stats are crazy!”
