West Brom forward Callum Robinson has lauded Jack Grealish on Twitter and claimed that he is playing Premier League games like ‘school matches’.
On Sunday, Grealish helped Villa to their fourth straight win of the season when they recorded a deserved 1-0 win at Leicester City.
Whilst Grealish didn’t provide an assist or score a goal during that match, it was one of his best performances in a Villa shirt as he carried the ball with ease in tight areas and made life for the likes of Timothy Castagne very tough.
Robinson also came through Villa’s academy alongside his close friend Grealish and he was wowed by what he produced at the King Power over the weekend.
It seems as though the only individual who isn’t aware of what Grealish can do is a certain Gareth Southgate.
Even though Grealish won the Man of the Match in his first start for his country, he was then an unused substitute as the Three Lions produced lacklustre performances against Belgium and Denmark.
England were crying out for a player of Grealish’s quality, but instead, he remained in stands warming the seat.
But what’s England’s loss is Villa’s gain because they have a fresh Grealish ready to prove those last few doubters wrong and he’s producing that in bucket loads during the early stages of this season.
