Some Everton supporters are urging their side to move for Josh King after the Bournemouth striker was linked with West Ham United.

West Ham have opened talks to sign King – for whom Bournemouth could ask as much as £17.5 million – ahead of next week’s deadline for domestic transfers, according to The Guardian.

But the Hammers are not the only club credited with an interest in the 28-year-old, who was an Everton target earlier this summer, according to The Daily Mirror.

Everton could be in the market for a striker themselves, having allowed Theo Walcott, Moise Kean, Sandro Ramirez and Oumar Niasse to leave – without replacing them – since the end of last season.

And the following Toffees fans hope that King joins them instead of West Ham, or any other interested party…

Both Everton and West Ham can only recruit players from EFL clubs after the deadline passed for international and all-Premier League deals on Monday.

And King, who has scored or assisted 63 goals in 161 Premier League games, could be among the best of the bunch.
