Some Leeds United fans have responded to Aaron Lennon’s post on Twitter.
Lennon, who is a free agent at the moment, has congratulated Leeds on winning promotion to the Premier League.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have won the Championship title and will play in the top flight of English football next season for the first time since 2004.
Lennon started his professional club football career at Leeds before moving to Tottenham Hotspur in 2005.
After spells at Everton and Burnley, the English winger is now looking for a new club, having left the Clarets at the end of last month.
The 33-year-old is past his prime, but he is a very experienced footballer who can be asset for a club in the Premier League.
It is unlikely that Leeds will spend a lot of money this summer even though they are among the big boys.

Some Leeds fans have responded to Lennon’s tweet, as shown below:
Meanwhile, former Leeds star Paul Robinson has urged the Whites to keep Ben White and Jack Harrison for next season.
Central defender White is on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, while Harrison, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, is on loan from Manchester City.
TEAMtalk quotes Robinson as saying: “Spending has to be sensible and has to be geared to keep the club in the Premier League.
“They’ve had a play on loan Ben White from Brighton who has been in my opinion player of the season. Him and Jack Harrison would be key if they could possible retain them.”
