Some Leeds United fans have responded to Ben White’s latest post on Twitter.
White was in action for Brighton and Hove Albion in their Premier League game against Burnley at home on Friday evening.
The match ended in a goalless draw, and the 23-year-old has stated on Twitter that the team will win soon.
The youngster, who spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Leeds from Brighton, did not have a particularly good game, as he gave the ball away too easily in the first half, although he did do better in the second period.
According to WhoScored, White, who can also operate in midfield, had a pass accuracy of 84.6%, won two headers, took 62 touches, attempted one dribble, and made four interceptions and two clearances.
White played an important role in Leeds winning automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season, and some fans of the West Yorkshire club have urged him on Twitter to return to Elland Road, as shown below.
Leeds wanted to secure the services of the youngster on a permanent contract in the summer transfer window, as reported by talkSPORT in September 2020, but the defender eventually signed a new contract with the Seagulls.
