Alan Sugar called for the return of Mauricio Pochettino on his personal Twitter account as Tottenham laboured to a goalless draw against Bournemouth on Thursday.

On Monday night, Spurs recorded a narrow win against Everton, but the manner in which they performed, and have been performing, has been coming under scrutiny.

Jose Mourinho’s side were coming up against a team that shipped nine goals in their last two matches and have not won since football restarted.

Therefore, Spurs fans were hoping for some more adventure from their side, as their former chairman sent this clear message on his personal Twitter account.

Mourinho replaced Pochettino in the Spurs dugout in November when the club were sitting in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

Whilst they are now in the top half, the performances of the team and the progression seems non-existent under Mourinho.

Whether Mourinho is at fault or not is up for debate, but he will want a summer transfer window, pre-season and the next campaign to prove his worth to the club.
