Tottenham have been criticised for being overly aggressive against Manchester City.

After a week in which they have been criticised for the aggressive approach that they adopted in the defeat to Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur face Burnley away tomorrow evening knowing that a real battle is set to be in store at Turf Moor.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and Dele Alli in particular, have been condemned for lashing out opponents but some aggression may certainly be required if Tottenham are to prevail past Burnley.
Burnley have received many plaudits of late, and rightly so given that they are one point and one place above Tottenham in the table, almost halfway through the Premier League season.

Sean Dyche has managed to get his team performing resolutely at the back, and Burnley will still be difficult to break down tomorrow even though they will be without the suspended James Tarkowski, who has been such an important figure for them this season.
Tottenham have the creative talents – Christian Eriksen, Son Heung-min, Erik Lamela and Alli (if he can recapture his form) – to break down a stubborn Burnley team.

However, it is clear that Tottenham will have to engage in a physical battle if they are to prevail at Turf Moor and help to get their season back on track.
Tottenham were condemned by former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino for their approach against City as he accused them of losing their discipline and was especially critical of Alli in that regard, as reported by The Times.
It is, of course, important that Tottenham do not go overboard and aren’t malicious, but the intention of stopping Burnley in their tracks and not being outmuscled should form a very important part of their gameplan.
