Jordan Spieth has been in the golfing doldrums for far too long now.
Spieth is without a PGA Tour win since April 2022, and the harder he works on his game, the more he seems to struggle.
The 32-year-old is desperate to rediscover his very best form but as things stand, he seems to be further away from doing that than ever before.

However, it’s painfully obvious that is not the case.
There are numerous changes that Jordan Spieth needs to make behind the scenes, in order to freshen things up.
And after Spieth’s poor showing at The Open Championship last week, he really does need to sit down and get honest with himself.
Jordan Spieth urged to make change for the first time since 2006
There is absolutely no question that Spieth needs to make at least one major change to the way that he goes about things.
Colt Knost was speaking on the Gravy & The Sleeze Podcast and insisted that Spieth should consider switching coaches.
“I almost feel like Jordan just needs another set of eyes to maybe just make a few little changes,“ Knost said.
“Maybe whoever he goes and sees, they might be saying the same exact thing just in a different way to what Cameron McCormick is saying, and it just resonates a little better, and something clicks.
“Jordan Spieth is too good to be playing the way he has over the last several years.
“And I know the injuries were part of it, and all that, but now that he’s healthy, he’s too damn good to not be competing at the highest level, competing for major championships, having to rely on sponsor exemptions for signature events.
“This is Jordan Spieth we’re talking about.“
Spieth has been with Cameron McCormick since 2006, when he was just 12 years old!
As Knost says, a switch in the coaching department would allow Spieth to receive some fresh ideas.

He has tested numerous different mallets since the off-season, but he continues to insist that the numbers do not make the switch worthwhile.
However, it’s not all about numbers. In professional golf, sometimes it’s about looking down at a different putter, getting a good feeling and going on a hot streak. The so-called ‘honeymoon period’ with a new putter is one of the best feelings in the game.
Spieth needs to put a different putter in his bag as a matter of urgency. So what if he putts poorly? It can’t be any worse than what he’s serving up right now.
The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.
Jordan Spieth is dangerously close to falling into that category right now, but a change-up in the coaching and putting departments could help him turn things around very quickly.
