Colombia eased to a comfortable 3-0 win over Greece in Belo Horizonte to take top spot in Group C.
David Ospina 7 – showed quick reactions on a number of occasions to sniff out Greece attacks and shots.
Juan Zuniga 7 – despite having played so little recently through injury, Zuniga fared well at right back, nullifying the threat of Giorgios Samaras.
Cristian Zapata 8 – alongside Yepes, Zapata rarely allowed much pressure on his own goal and also got a key touch on for Gutierrez’s goal.
Mario Yepes 8 – strong and dominant in defence, the experienced captain led by example with a sturdy display.
Pablo Armero 8 – got Colombia off to a superb start with the opening goal, and showed tireless running throughout.
Juan Cuadrado 7 – full of pace and energy down the right hand side, Cuadrado threatened but his end product was inconsistent.
Abel Aguilar 7 – impressed in the middle with some good passing and good energy to get forward and defend before being substituted for Alexander Mejia.
Carlos Sanchez 8 – a very strong showing from the defensive midfielder, who was excellent in the tackle and broke down attacks well.
James Rodriguez 8 – bright and confident in possession, Rodriguez had no trouble taking players on, but his final ball let him down at times. Capped off the win with a late third goal.
Victor Ibarbo 8 – allowed to roam behind Gutierrez, Ibarbo was constantly a threat and showed his superb speed on occasion.
Teofilo Gutierrez 8 – made his name as a poacher with River Plate and it showed today, coming alive in the six yard box to put Colombia 2-0 up.
