James Rodriguez wowed everyone in Brazil when he scored a stunning left foot volley to send Uruguay crashing out of the tournament.
David Ospina 7 – Made some really good saves, especially against Edinson Cavani and Maximiliano Pereira. Had a very sturdy game.
Juan Camilo Zuniga 7 – Played pretty well at right back and bombed it forward a lot giving his team plenty of opportunities.
Cristian Zapata 8 – Superb game from this man, went on a couple of incredible runs early and gave the Uruguayan defence lots of trouble.
Mario Yepes 8 – For a 38-year-old, Yepes certainly didn’t look his age, lead the defence line brilliantly and had an excellent game.
Pablo Armero 8 – Created lots of opportunities and did a really good job for Colombia, excellent cross in the build up for James Rodriguez’ second goal.
Carlos Sanchez Moreno 7 – Solid game from Sanchez, helped out in his sides attack and controlled the game from midfield.
Abel Aguilar 7 – Much like his midfield counterparts, looked in complete control and bossed Uruguay out the way.
Juan Guillermo Cuadrado 8 – Great game from Cuadrado, could have easily gone for goal, but nodded it back superbly for Rodriguez’ second.
James Rodriguez 9 – Blinding game, his first goal especially was a spectacle, that will be hard to beat for goal of the tournament. Now on five goals and four assists.
Jackson Martinez 7 – All part of the well oiled machine that is Colombia, fitted in perfectly with their attacking flow.
Teofilo Gutierrez 7 – Had another decent game, and will be especially pleased with his constant role within the team.
