However, Roberto Di Matteo’s side are not doing so well and find themselves as low as 17th in the league table at the moment.
Villa failed to win at the weekend, playing out a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United at Villa Park in the Championship.
Former Villa striker Collymore has suggested on Twitter that he is worried about the Villans. The ex-England international has stated that Villa are not direct or aggressive enough.
Villa will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Barnsley away from home at Oakwell in the Championship.
It is hard to see Di Matteo’s side claiming an automatic promotion spot, but there is still a chance that they could finish in the playoffs.
