Stan Collymore was impressed with Liverpool’s win against Leicester City, but he does not think they have as strong a squad as Manchester City do.

Stan Collymore has shared his concern about Liverpool on Boylesports.com.
The former Liverpool striker was impressed with the Reds’ performance against Leicester City at the weekend.
Liverpool got the better of defending English champions Leicester 4-1 at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
It was a superb performance from the Merseyside outfit, and Collymore was impressed.
The former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker, though, has outlined that manager Jurgen Klopp does not have as strong a squad as Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola does.
City have one of the best squads in the Premier League and are one of the favourites to win the Premier League title.

Collymore has also highlighted the importance of Sadio Mane for Liverpool this season.
The 24-year-old winger joined the Reds from Premier League rivals Southampton in the summer transfer window.
“Liverpool were incredibly impressive against the Champions but there wasn’t really much there from the Redmen that we didn’t already know,” Collymore wrote about Liverpool on Boylesports.com.
“On their day, at their best, an exciting, vibrant attacking side with a manager who kicks every ball and demands, like Pep at City, constant pressure and constant questions being asked of the opposition.”
“My overriding concern is that where Man City have the squad numbers to freshen things up during a tough league season, Liverpool don’t, so it will always seem like two steps forward and one back,” added Collymore.
“Mane though is going to be crucial for the Reds this season; a match winner, outrageous pace and is a very useful counter attacking weapon on away days, so a great result but I’m not getting carried away just yet.”

Liverpool do not have the squad to challenge for the Premier League title this season, but the Reds certainly have a good chance of fighting for a top-four spot.
The Reds will return to action on Friday evening when they take on Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
